RESTAURANT RENTAL

Cafe Juanita is available for full restaurant buy-out for private functions . The restaurant comfortably seats 64 guests in the main dining room, and up to 86 guests when seating the entire main floor, and 98 if the lower-level Fireplace Room is included.  Food & Beverage minimums for a full buy out are available upon request.

PRIVATE ROOM RENTAL

The Winery

The Winery, our main-level private dining room, can accommodate parties of 16 or fewer. A small uncovered deck adjoins this space, separated by glass nano-doors. The Winery deck overlooks our property and Juanita Creek.

The Winery Food & Beverage minimums:

  • January 2 - May 31

    • Tuesdays and Wednesdays $3,500

    • Fridays and Saturdays $4,500

  • June 1 - August 31

    • Tuesdays and Wednesdays $3,500

    • Fridays and Saturdays $5,500

  • September 1 - Thanksgiving

    • Tuesdays and Wednesdays $3,500

    • Fridays and Saturdays $4,500

  • Thanksgiving - December 30

    • Tuesdays and Wednesdays $5,500

    • Fridays and Saturdays $6,000

  • For a private booking on New Year’s Eve, rates may differ; please inquire.

The room rental fee for The Winery on all normal service days is $250.
Service charges are added to Private Dining food & beverage purchases. We add a 4% kitchen service charge which is entirely distributed to the kitchen team working on the date of the event. A 20% Front-of-House service charge is entirely distributed to the service team working on the date of the event. Service charges do not go towards employee wages or health benefits, which are completely covered by the restaurant. All event food and beverage purchases, service charges, and rental fees are subject to Washington state sales tax.

The Fireplace Room

The Fireplace Room, our lower-level dining room, can accommodate parties of 14 or fewer. This space is accessed via a set of 14 stairs; as such, it may be challenging for guests with limited mobility. Restrooms are located upstairs, through the main dining room. The stairway is shared with restaurant staff, as well as possible diners on the adjoining Patio. Optional rental of the Patio includes the Fireplace Room, and the guest maximum remains 14 guests, in case of inclement weather.

Patio & Fireplace Room combined food & beverage minimums:

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays year-round $4500

  • Fridays and Saturdays year round  $6000

SEMI-PRIVATE

The Chef’s Table

Our Chef’s table is semi-private with a view of the open kitchen as well as our backyard. A beautiful live edge table made from a maple that was on the property until 2015. The Chef’s table comfortably seats up to eight guests.

Chef’s Table Food & Beverage minimum ranges from $1300 - $1900* seasonally, plus 4% kitchen service fee and tax. Gratuity is left to our guests’ discretion.

January 1st - May 31st Food & Beverage minimum $1300.

June 1st - November 30th Food & Beverage minimum $1500.

December 1st-30th Food & Beverage minimum is $1900.

*New Year’s Eve Food & Beverage minimum is $5000 for a seating between 6pm-9pm, or outside of this timeframe $2500.

Private Dining and Buyout policies FAQ

Total Restaurant Buyouts require a contract agreement between the client and Cafe Juanita. Equipment rentals, customized menus and other personalized elements of the guest experience are arranged on a case-by-case basis. Cancellation policies for Buyouts are outlined in the event contract.

Cafe Juanita’s Private Dining cancellation policy is based on the Food & Beverage minimum:

  • Private Dining reservations can be canceled without charge two weeks in advance of the reservation date.

    • If cancellation occurs between seven and thirteen days prior, guests will be charged 25% of the F&B minimum.

    • If cancellation occurs between six and three days prior, guests will be charged 50% of the F&B minimum.

    • A cancellation within 48 hours will result in a charge of 100% of F&B minimum.

    • The cancellation fee will be refunded if we are able to re-book the private space for the same date.

    • Rescheduled bookings within the period of two weeks prior to the event date are subject to the same cancellation fee policy. 

  • We require a deposit payment of the F&B minimum, including calculated taxes and service fees. The event deposit will be applied to the bill at the conclusion of the event, and a credit card on file will be used to pay any overages, associated taxes and service fees, and the property rental fee. In the case that a cancellation occurs within 13-3 days prior to a Private Dining booking, the portion of the client deposit not forfeit to cancellation fees will be refunded to the original form of payment.

    Cafe Juanita’s Chef’s Table cancellation policy is based on the Food & Beverage minimum: Chef’s Table reservations can be canceled without charge 48 hours in advance of the reservation date. If cancellation occurs between 48 and 24 prior, guests will be charged 25% of the F&B minimum. A cancellation within 24 hours will result in a charge of 50% of F&B minimum. No-shows will result in a charge of 100% of the F&B minimum. The cancellation fee will be refunded if we are able to re-book the Chef’s Table for the same date.
